I'm not sure if this is the right room to place my thread on, but I've been thinking of selling my iphone 3g and I'm not really sure how much my asking price should be. I've been using my Iphone for almost a year, and its in pretty good condition, although there are some minor scratches at the back along the apple logo.

would highly appreciate your help. tIa

It's best to checkout the Marketplace or tipidcp where a lot more iPhones in varying states are available for sale.

My iphone's in pretty good condition, just a few scratches at the back....although on of the speakers seems to be acting up. Keeps on working intermitently from time to time. was hoping i could still sell my 8gb for around 17k :)

the prices are approximately same as the prices stated above. it all depends on the condition of the iphone

That would be ok for a sealed and factory-unlocked unit, but a little too high for a second-hand iPhone with some scratches.

I sold my 3G 16GB for 15k cause it had a teeny weeny crack on the bottom part at the back. I think that was waaaay too low but maybe prices did go down cause it's "phased out" kumbaga.

I just sold mine today for 18t. I was told from a Mac dealer that this is the expected price for it. It's also highly recommended that you sell it soon before the iPhone 4 comes out locally.

nice...but i think scratch on the screen will devalue it more...if you sold it 16k, i think im going for 10-12k...

I don't think so. People who will buy an iPhone 4 generally wouldn't be interested in a 3G unit. Last year the prices for the 2G/3G iPhones remained relatively stable even after the release of the 3GS. That's another thing that's great about it. Resale value.
