How do you convert VCD to DVD?

    Hi guys..

    Does anyone know how to go about this? will Toast titanium be able to do this? or do we have to download an application?:redface:

    Hope someone can help.

    Rip the VCD into MPEG using VCDGear. Then create a DVD with iDVD. Hth :)

    This is like blowing up a 1x1 picture into an 8x10 photo. The result wouldnt be a good looking picture with all the pixels in your image. Why would you want to convert it to DVD?

    it's not for me really. it's for my friend. I think the only copy she has of the movie is a vcd and wants to tconvert it to a dvd format.. :)

    In that case, I suggest you tell your friend to just recopy the VCD into VCD format. IMHO.

    BTW most DVD players (except the very oldest ones) are able to play back VCDs without
    any problem whatsoever.
