I own a few foreign language DVD's which I want to convert into mp4's for viewing on iPod Touch / iPhone. I want to retain the original language but want the subtitles to appear within the mp4 created. Is there an easy way for me to go about this?

Handbrake give you options to rip the subtitles as well. There's a tab for "Audio and Subtitles" that you can access.
