I'm trying to send an email to multiple recipients (about 30) using Mail.app and I'd like to know if there's a way by which the email will only show the email address of just one of each intended recipient and not display all their email addresses together.

In other words, although it's a bulk email, I'd like it to appear to the recipient that he/she is the sole recipient, so to speak.

    Is it possible? :qmark:

Use the BCC field for the email addresses. BCC means Blind Carbon Copy and does what you want it to do.

oh, but is there another way so that it doesn't fall into the BCC field? aren't there some filters that filter out the email if it sees that you've got a bunch of addresses in your BCC field? and would tag it as SPAM? am i right? or am i just paranoid?

I get some legitimate mail sometimes that says TO: "List suppressed"
Am also curious how this was done?
