I cannot print on Microsoft Word 2008. The program hangs whenever I click on the Print button on the Print window. My document previews, but when I click on the button, it just hangs. When I Force Quit the program, it registers Word as "Not Responding."

    Help! How can I print?!?!?!

Although I was able to successfully print 2 consecutive documents yesterday, but I guess it was just "tsamba." :(

Update: I could save document as PDF. I thought that maybe I could print in Preview, but Preview hangs when printing as well. :(

This is not anymore an Office issue. It's an OSX issue! :O Anyone experiencing this?

Are you printing to a printer connected directly via USB? What's the model of the printer?

First of all, go to your printer company's website and make sure to download and install the latest drivers for your printer. Next, go to System Preferences -> Print & Fax. Delete the old printer by clicking on the '-' button (you might need to click on the padlock icon to make changes). After you've deleted the old printer, click on the '+' button to add it again. See if that solves your problem.

can you try to print using TextEdit? if that doesn't work as well, maybe you need to reinstall the driver of your printer or download the latest version of your printer driver (go to your manufacturer's site).. hope that helps! ciao! :)

btw, if you can print on TextEdit or other apps, maybe its time to reinstall your Office..
