    hey guys!

i need your opinion/help with the problems ive been having the past months.

i recently switched to a macbook last november since my old compaq laptop needs to retire.so here's the thing..i left a cd inside my macbook, which i normally do in my old compaq laptop. i left it inside the cd drive for a couple of days. So a couple of days after,i have to burn something and the cd drive wouldnt read the blank cd or any cd..i searched and searched and found the answer,i shouldnt be leaving cd's inside my cd drive for a long time.. Is this true or its just my super drive?..by the way this problem happened 45 days after i purchased it..so i brought it to P. Guevarra and they replaced the super drive..then after telling my story to a friend, he told me that the whole unit should be replaced since wala pang 90 days (again,is this true? =) )

fast forward to last week and a few days ago....i couldnt navigate using my trackpad kasi it was stucked..i need to use a mouse pa or i have to restart the macbook para i could use the trackpad properly..i thought it was just dirty so i tried cleaning it,but after a few days the trackpad gets stuck again.

i dont know what to do now or where to bring my laptop. im scared na if i bring it back to a service center, theyre gonna replace the part tapos after a few weeks may ibang part naman na masisisra..are my problems just a coincidence or its the whole unit na talaga?

i think ipa-check mo dapat yang mac mo sa mga authorized apple service center. good luck.

Bring the unit to a service center and have them check on all the problems you are encountering. They will only replace the parts that are defective. Warranty is one year from date of purchase but can be extended to three years if you purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan. You should register your APP before the first year is over to be covered. Mine had several problems too and pabalik-balik ako sa service centers.

The unit should be replace totally, I mean the MB itself. Try to call the Apple hotline.
