Recently I downloaded an excel file from an email. When i opened the attachment, my Excel program would boot up but would eventually hang. I would "force quit" the application to get it out of that state. I tried restarting, taking out the battery, deleting the said file. But still when i open excel program, that particular file would still try to open even if i deleted it and emptied my trash. How can I use my excel program now? Tnx

Maybe the file that you downloaded is corrupted. Try to simply open excel and make a new document, save it then quit excel. Then try to open that document :D
