    Hi everyone...

I suddenly notice white spots of different sizes on my aluminum macbook 2.4 (late 2008) confined to the outer left side of the palm rest area. Ive read in the apple support site that it could be a design flaw and a number of unibody users have it.

Im super OC with my MB. Ive taken good care of it and I just want to get rid of the stains.
Ive read too that Iklear helps remove the stains...Where can I buy this in Manila? I tried ordering it in Amazon but it cant be shipped here :(

Im also looking for a Moshi Palm protector (silver). Where can buy it?

    Hope to hear from you

Hi Thanks for the replies. I took pictures so I can share with you all but the photos didnt turn out well. It was blurry.
I was able to buy iklear in Powermac Alabang. Rubbed the spots thousand of times, Rubbed alcohol, I read in one forum someone used eraser tried that too. The 3 procedures somehow helped lighten it. Its not as obvious as it used to be but when i tilt the macbook its still there.

Ive ordered a palmguard from aevoe.com and it will be shipped in 3-5 days.

Looks like the unibody Macbook still seem to stain. I wonder what caused it, sweat? contact with chemicals like perfumes or moisturizers? I recall the Titanium Powerbook G4 and some Aluminum Powerbooks having the same problems back then.

@ LadyMary, how long have you been using your Aluminum MacBook? Mine is also a late 2008 bought about eight months ago but it doesn't have any discoloration. I wipe it with a dry Microtex cloth daily and a damp microfiber cloth once in two weeks.
