I purchased my unibody mac 2.0 almost 3 days ago. I seems everything is fine except that i cant use the isight in YM 3.0 beta ver 4. I can see my image whenever i click the "broadcast webcam" icon but my chat mate cant view me, neither I can view her. I am using Sun broadband, i tried to use "behind firewall" as some told in this forum, but it didnt work still. Please help...

I getting desperate... and mad too..
    lol...

    thanks a lot.

I have had this situation several times already. I am thinking it's because ym for mac is still a beta. There are days that it works really well though.

Try using another video conferencing application like skype or even mebeam. If it works with those, then it's a ym issue, if it doesn't it can be your isight/macbook.

You can also try downgrading to the last YM Version...

If you can access your camera there's little doubt that it's a hardware problem...

You can also try iChat... and Skype as @platonic_69 suggested...

    Thank you Platonick and RC.

I was able to use the iSight on my YM at last. Then I signed out. When I signed back in, trouble started once more.

Hmp. ill try other options as you have suggested.

    Thanks again.
