    It's not specific to Safari.

Choose your hard drive on the left and then click the appropriate button.

i assume ur using 10.4.9? and u have ur tiger installation disk with you?

Google for Pacifist. Then use that to extract the Safari installation package from the installer DVD/CD.

Open Pacifist -> Open Package -> Navigate to Panther CD1 (or DVD) -> System/Installation/Packages/EssentialSystemSoftware.mpkg -> Click Open -> click the twisty next to Essentials -> click the twisty next to Applications -> Select Safari.app -> Click Install

or u can ask some one to email or ftp you the safari.app i think its not that big!!

    Try either of the following:

    1. a full restart
    2. disk verify on disk utility

The Disk utility is, indeed, not specific to Safari. It's for your entire hard drive. The benfits of doing this is that it will check not just your Safari but the rest of the system as well.
