Re: help! ms office trial version expired.. Pretty much all apple stores here have them. Ynzal (ynzal.com) is a good place to buy from. Apple centers in Megamall, Greenbelt and Powerplant should have MS office available as well.
Re: help! ms office trial version expired.. thank you.. by the way, i think i posted my thread in a wrong folder.. oopss.. sorry guys. my bad..
Re: help! ms office trial version expired.. i highly recommend ynzal... they can provide the relatively cheaper student edition. good luck!
Re: help! ms office trial version expired.. last time I didn't close the MS Office apps while waiting to buy my copy of Office for Mac 2004 and it continued to be operational good thing macs can just sleep everytime vs shutting it down.
When installing a full version of MS Office, it's best to remove the old one prior. Just Spotlight the words Remove Office and you'll find a little utility that trashes all trail version files as well as any previous versions of Office that may have been installed.
Reminder: If you do get one, don't forget to save your proof of purchase to get your free upgrade to the new version, Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac (ETA: January 2008). http://www.microsoft.com/mac/go/promotions/supersuitedeal/
There is also a discounted Academic (Student of Faculty) version of MS Office 2004. This is not qualified for the 2008 upgrade though.
Have you considered open office as an alternative? Although i do recommend buying the Original MS Office Mac Version. Plus! I do not know if you have heard of this before but, When i went to the Apple store they told me that if i buy a copy of the 2004 MS Office now, they will offer the new 2008 Version update for only $10 or something. I was told this a few months ago and may be mistaken, but i do suggest looking in to it.
Just use Neo Office (free download) and it can open/edit/save all of your MS-Office filesin MS format.....
