Hi guys, I tried searching a thread specifically for mbp's hinge but can't find one. Anyway, last night when i closed the lcd lid of my mbp, I heard a "click" sound, which is weird. So I thought that's nothing, then when I woke up this morning, suddenly the hinge is now loose and the lcd can't even stand 90 degrees. So I tried opening it and found out that the right hinge snapped or in Tagalog, "naputol". Everything is working fine even the lcd. So what I did was I just removed/detached the lcd and now I'm still using my "half" mbp, which I call it "halfbook pro" :D. I just connected it to my lcdtv at home so that I can still use it.

I tried searching the net for the hinge but no luck. I tried calling Apple Center and they said it will take a month or two to get the hinge fixed. A friend of mine said it will cost me around 6k to get the hinge replaced.

Maybe you guys can suggest/help me on this problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
