    i hope someone helps me.

my dad bought a 2nd hand 650cc bigbike from an old colleague of his way back in 2004. but no CR was issued.

the only thing we have is an open DOS and the OR + insurance record. nor no ID was given . ( - i dont know how or why my father accepted this or maybe it was a donation? or given as a gift? i really dont know.) - ( i think its possible that it is a gift maybe since my father was in the army wayback and the owner of the bike is a kuyang) i really dont ask much about my fathers affairs since he dont tell tales. all i know is he spent 37 years in the army, he retired back in 2013.)

we had the bike restored this year 2019 and unfortunately its not road legal due to the fact we cant have it registered.

we dont even know if the previous owner is still alive.

    what to do?

    many thanks po!

Hmm. No idea. This is an forum for Mac Users not Bike users.:LOL: Are you sure you're in the right forum?

Mm.........best that you just go to the nearest LTO office and get first-hand info of the requirements to fix your bike papers.

If you have a photocopy of the CR (even if not named to your family), then send me a DM. Maybe I can help you.

***edit, I asked because people usually photocopy the OR and CR and keep them inside the vehicle/motorcycle as proof of registration. I hope you have a photocopy there***

I had a similar experience but not exactly the same. I suggest going to the nearest LTO to ask what your options are. They told me to execute an affidavit of warranty which makes me answerable to any future claims from the previous owner. Anyway, here's my whole incident in case you want to read it. https://www.facebook.com/groups/503490380003067/permalink/748404408844995/

It looks like he doesn’t have any record of its CR, no photocopy, no original copy, nada. Owner can’t be found, because you can actually still get a new copy of the CR if it’s been lost if you can get some form of national ID from that owner. What to do, what to do.

Check with PNP HPG if the motorbike has ANY record of some kind. Then check with LTO if there is still a record of it. You do know that you can still register the vehicle even without CR right? (Didn’t hear this from me)
