Help! Keyboard and trackpad needs reset?

    When I boot my Macbook.. I get to the account log in page. But my keyboard and trackpad is not working.. Cant choose the accoount and log in. Only the power button is responding so all i can do is turn on and off :(

    What do i need to do?

    i experienced the same thing when my macbook's keyboard was replaced. can u attach an external keyboard via usb a usb mouse and check if it works?

    then go to a service center, you may need to replace your keyboard + track pad...

    Have you tried resetting the PRAM (Cmd+Opt+P+R then boot)?

    cheti - only have a WMM, does not work either.

    Shinrai - tried that too and nothing happened.

    Will have it checked tom. Thanks!
