    Hi Everyone,

    I need your help.

I was upgrading my OS X from Panther to Tiger and my Iphoto pictures, I simply dragged to my external HD. I loaded the new Iphoto 07 and I now can't launch my IPhoto Library. I have tried to research on restoring this but unsuccessful. The files are all UNIX EXECUTABLE FILE.

    Please help.

In any case I still have a back-up copy on my IPod Video. How do I restore the photos to my laptop?

    Thanks:eek:

You dragged the whole iPhoto Library folder? You returned it to the Pictures folder in your new setup?

Yes. I even downloaded the IPhoto Library Manager to rebuild it. But when it was done, only the albums were restored but no photos.

Before that, I opened the IPhoto and held the Option button to choose a library, When I chose is I got a dialogue box that said the files were corrupted and could not be opened.

Do you still have the other copy of your iPhoto Library folder in another drive?

I suggest you save ur photos individually in another folder then import it to iphoto rather than just let iphoto do everything.
Sharing photos within "Mac apps" is easy in iphoto, however, when you need the individual files in other apps, its kinda difficult to find them. Like for example, uploading certain photos to photobucket.
