help in setting up mobileme

    i was following the step by step procedure in setting up mobileme. however, when i click my system preferences, dotmac appears instead of mobileme. please help me what to do in order to finish setting up mobileme on my mac and iphone. thanks very much!

    It's okay to set-up using the dotMac in your Systems Preferences. DotMac is the old service, it will still connect to MobileMe. Also make sure you've updated your OS.

    tried setting it up with dotmac but i get an error and when i log in at me.com, my contacts and calendars are not sychronized. tried it several times but same thing happens. :(

    Reset sync history. Mobileme preferences update requires os 10.5.4 or higher.

    but this is what the set up mobileme says - Make sure you’re using the latest version of Mac OS X Leopard (10.5.4) or Tiger (10.4.11).
