I used toast to convert an avi file to vcd, but I ends up with a vcd with chapter 1: My CD and its blank black,

what did I do wrong? what is the right way to makes a avi file encode properly on a cd that can play on vcd player?

btw I chose normal vcd not the super vcd format

some avi files are really unpredictable. try converting your avi files first to mp4 format using isquint. toast will have an easier time converting mp4 files to vcd format.
