^Essentially all the other cable channels not already in Netflix and Amazon Prime, and entirely killing cable TV in the process.
Netflix + Disney+ + League Pass + HBO Max + Amazon Prime Streaming is now officially more expensive than cable
In parts known and unknown here, there are still those disc-shaped antennas around. And yeah, TV plus is as thriving as jueteng for all we know.
will hbo max availbale in phil? They already tell their monthly price susbcription on usa, its $14.99 per month..
Not exactly yet. There are a lot of technological laggards keeping cable alive. I enticed my friend with free Netflix but he still insists on cable. the guy is such a laggard that I only see him once a month.
I suppose you could get it to work using a VPN. Otherwise, I think your only local option is still the asia market HGO GO.
A 30 day trial looks unlikely, maybe a 7 day trial like HBO Now. Btw, you can preorder HBO Max for $12 a month for 12 months, and get access to HBO Now until HBO Max launches on May 27.
Looking at HBO Max’s library, I see no 4K content available even the originals are not in 4K resolution
I don’t see the advantage of subscribing to HBO Max at $12/month, when one can easily subscribe to HBO Go for P149/month.
HBO Max is $15 a month. For blockbuster movies, HBO Max gets them earlier. There’s a 2-3 month gap before local HBO GO gets those movies. For TV series, some popular non-HBO TV series (Big Bang Theory, Rick and Morty, Friends) on HBO Max are already on local Netflix. HBO Max does have a better HBO documentary library compared to local HBO GO.
