I've accumulated lots of PDF documents over the last few years because of research projects, and I now find it difficult to just manage them by using heirarchical folders. I came across YEP, which bills itself as "iTunes for PDF documents."

It looks good, based on the product description and from user reviews on MacUpdate, but I would like to hear more from other people who've used it before I plunk down the price of this shareware app ($34).

YEP is a nice application that facilitates viewing of all your pdf files in your mac. You can create tags for easy access of your wanted files. More than being an iTunes for PDF Documents, it's an iPhoto for PDF Documents.

@jason: I prefer Yojimbo. Its more flexible because it accomodates .pdf **and** other files. Nice integration with OS X too!

I'm actually using Yojimbo now (used to use Sticky Brain before that), but I find its organizational features a bit lacking (e.g., you can't create sub-folders of your collections; it only lists your collections alphabetically, etc.).
