I devoted all my free time to finish Halo 1 and 2 on Xbox 360 during the past week so I can be ready for Halo 3. Just finished it now, galing! I love this game, specially the story line of the trilogy. Congrats to Bunjie for a job well done! @booblanco -- second 3RL sa same 360 or second 360 with 3RL? my 3RL was repaired by Ronald from Marikina (and i'm from Davao), replaced the fans with high speed ones and added a couple more. An whatever he's done so far so good. kailangang maayos ang 360 for Halo 3!
same 360, two 3RLs - the first one fixed by Ronald. I think another visit to him is in order. he hasn't replaced and added more fans yet. kailangan nga maayos!
Ronald has warranty naman, I am sure that's easily fixable. I am lucky my unit didn't experience a 3RL when I played straight Halo1-3. I think it was ON non-stop 10 hours per sitting during the weekend Just make sure that you play in a well-ventilated area, console on horizontal flat position, best if the room is airconditioned.
ditoy is right, plus make sure after playing a game, have it stand by on the dash for at least 5 mins, fiddle around with your dash muna, this way the fans are still functioning while your xbox cools down. kung diretso off kasi ng xbox after playing halo3 for example, super hot pa sa loob tapos wala nang fan na gumagana, yoiks! add me up na sa live ha!

The 3RL problems reported by a lot of people is the only thing hindering me from buying an XBox 360. There's a lot of games I want to play on 360 pa naman - Gears of War, Oblivion, Bioshock, and Halo3. Is the elite 360 immune to heating problems?
Got my copy today. I didn't make a reservation but they had one limited edition in stock so I jumped at it. I actually skipped Halo 2 and I played Halo 1 on my mac. I'm halfway through and it's nice and all but Bioshock IMO had more depth in it. But I'm excited to try out campaign 4 player co-op. Anyone willing to try it?
@brain -- you shouldn't have skipped halo 2, it's probably the reason why it you thought bioshock has more depth in it. anyways, you're invited to an every-night live session with fellow pinoys (from pxb). here's a game from last night. lahat pinoy yan! add us up and join in lalo na mamayang gabi since it's a sat!
from halo 3's theater mode... shotties and snipers game in live... was looking for someone to snipe, instead i was the one who got sniped, not by one, but by two snipers at-the-same-time!
