The sound is so jarring. And it so happened that my clip lamp slipped down and bumped its shade on my headboard. For a moment there I thought my Mac was scolding my clip lamp. Haha. Will try to figure the game out a little bit more.
The instruction is at the bottom: Click panels in your selected order. Items you click will grow and grow with each turn. You will complete the game when all panels' level is max. They effect each other as they grow. So you have to think about the clicking order.

The tubes are correct that way, perhaps you just missed the order of two items. It's cute when it's finished.
