Hey guys I was commissioned to do poster(s), invitations, tickets and banners for our college graduation rites this March. Do you guys know any great/good print shops in the metro? Preferably in Pasay/Makati/Taguig/Mandaluyong area para accessible naman sana (I'm from Pasay) but I could go hanggang QC for a great print quality. I heard from my cousin na may magagandang print shop(s) near UST area na suki ng mga Fine Arts students. Baka naman po pwede ninyo ituro sa akin yun and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Oh and if you guys know the rates please pakipost din po sana. Salamat!
cool thread, hope a lot will contribute here. i also need a list of printers as well because i handle all the offline (print) stuff in our design company. i don't know if it's just me but i really find it difficult to find a good and reliable printer. as of now, i give all of our print needs to GA Printing (890-3470 locataed in san antonio village, makati). they are actually okay, very reliable and easy to talk with. but of course, there will be times when budget and timeline will come into play, so having other options for good printers is really necessary. and also, not all printers have good stock of different papers and can do various printing techniques so i hope some muggers out there in the design business could help out. TIA
Thanks yuck-o and Eric! i will definitely check out the print shops/houses you recommended! I hope this thread would also be helpful to other muggers who want their stuff to be printed with great quality.
I second that. GA Printing is considerably good and cheap too. They do have the quality that most will require. If you need one day printing, they also have the Digital Fox which runs an HP Indigo which can print directly from file without the need for the other steps as with running the offset machines. They also have several Heidelbergs for the offset printing and they also have one that can print 2 colors in one pass.
Great! Any other shops you guys can recommend that can do digital and/or offset? Preferably in other areas other than Makati para may diversity ng sagot naman
VJ Graphics in Quezon Ave., QC is good. They got Direct to Plate facilities to eliminate the cost of Color Separation. Contact: Rachelle Llamado @ +639175440888
I'm from UST, i always have my plates printed at Lord's Print Shoppe or Nitz near ust P.Noval (but I prefer Lord's.. hehe). ibones in Q.Ave cor Araneta ave, in front of Jollibee is just as great as Lord's but a bit more expensive
Guys I hope I don't off topic the subject but know any shops in Manila (preferably San Juan) that can print classy high quality business cards?
If you're in the QC area, we might be able to assist you w/ digital (from business cards to 12" x 18" papers/sticker) and 40" wide-format prints. We use Fuji-Xerox and Epson printers. PM me for our rates.
i was referring to green printing technologies. i know of one local publisher that provides that kind of service. the owner is a member of the other mac user forum, pinoymac.org.
OT: @cnight: Can you PM the local publisher's name? I'm looking for suppliers of recycled and PCW paper. TIA.
I usually get our posters printed in D'exact in taft avenue cor. Vito Cruz, near DLSU. Maganda print nila. plus, they have macs too. =)
