Looks awesome. I'm definitely buying a PS2 for this game when it (finally) comes out.

But on the Xbox side, the upcoming Forza Motorsport looks like it will give GT4 a run for the money too!

GT games are THE excuse way back GT3 was released. It's just that GT3's lineup of cars are kinda disappointing.

Sony promises 50 tracks so this list is short by 19.

Keep in mind GT4 will not be playable online until they come up with an online version next year. That gives you some time to pick up some skillz before competing online.

As an aside, there was an article on Car & Driver few years back about Juan Pablo Montoya (when he was still in CART) being a GT addict. He mentioned how realistic the physics are and that he would use it for prep.

Wow. In addition to the "old school" cars, there's also some classic vintage ones...

What took the cake for me was the Gullwing Mercedes:love:

And the eco-friendly Toyota Prius:) (Guys, you havta see this car for real... It looks so "tomorrow"!)

Looks like GT4 has it all... The only car that's missing 'ata is a stainless jeepney... :D

Underground is fun and all that but you can't compare it with GT. GT has a genre of it's own. That's why it's called a driving simulator than a racing game.

    I really like the old-school Supra. Pop-up lights are a thing with me. ^_^;

How'd you come across these pics, jsaure? Even Gamespot doesn't have these high quality jpgs.

speaking of racing games... wouldn't it be nice to have this?!?

For only $10,000 Australian (or a measly $7300 USD), you too can own a Serious Racer Pro, a videogame racing pod crafted after a real F1 cockpit, including a real racing seat, force-feedback steering wheel, and real F1-style paddle shifters. Other features include 5.1 sound, wireless video out, authentic racing seat, and personalized graphics and embroidery. We could continue to list the features here, but our gaming insides would explode. Ah, crap, let’s just do it: dual seat rumblers, dual fans, adjustable pedal position, aluminum retractable from handle, race lighting, console remote for PlayStation 2, carbon fiber dash panel with real SR gauges, and—wait for it—a drink holder. Stop us now. Please, make us stop. GT4 not included.

Damage modeling on the cars of Forza Motorsport. Nice. Now have to add this to the must-have Xbox games list.

As usual, I'll wait for Jorweeck to rack the cars up :) first before I buy this one. (I dont have much time to gather credits to buy the exotic cars).

I just dont know yet if they were able to fix the physics of a car "wheelie" here in this new version. In GT3, I usually let the Escudo Pike Peak fly off a wheelie when hitting road bumps (Swiss Alps Rally track) to gain an instant 2-3 seconds lead. It literally flies off the road!!! :) My friends' and brothers' jaw always drop when I do that - quite fun to watch.

    GT4 is complete.

Sony held a party for GT4's completion.

    - 700 cars over the promised 500 will be available.

    - Japan will have a very limited (only 1,000 units) special edition bundle consisting of the game, Gran Turismo-branded Nike Shox trainers, a Nike t-shirt, an unlockable "Nike One" concept car, and an aluminum case.
