Mm...been tried before but the main technical problem is how to eliminate network lag down to the very minimum. Otherwise, the gaming experience will not be good.

Google Stadia will be very good for combating game Piracy and Cheating. I wouldn't be surprise if Amazon and Microsoft with releases similar services.
Mm...nice but Stadia’s success and acceptance by the gaming community lies in the quality of the gaming catalog.
Origin has a similar service and business model: download and game all you can for a fixed subscription price. I m subscribed. The only difference is gaming via Stadia is strictly online (Google’s servers will do the GPU heavylifting).
Stadia pure cloud based gaming right!? Meaning users can’t play offline? If so it’s strength is also it’s greatest weakness. And from pricing perspective looks like the total cost of ownership is also similar to that of a console considering a 5yr lifecycle. Granting with Stadia in theory you can get better performance without upgrading your hardware but that would also depends if your internet bandwidth can handle it.
