Google Maps now available in PH app store

    yes, it does support the iPad.

    no wonder I wasn't required to change to the US App Store when I updated Google Maps. anyway, it was worth the wait for everyone :)

    Just noticed that turn by turn doesnt work for me anymore. It just shows walking routes

    EDIT: Just pressed the car icon to enable turn by turn. My Bad

    I really enjoyed using this compared to papago, voice navigation turn by turn works and quite accurate.

    Agree with you on Papago; it was Papa-gone from my device soon after I used it just once. :)

    At this point, Waze is still my GPS app of choice because it shows a bit more maturity as a product. Once Google devotes its resourcing to improving the navigation app, from AI to user interface to features and settings, etc., I'm sure I would like it and most like rely on it more and more. But as it is, it's off to a good start.

    Hope it will support offline navigation too. Still using papago for offline navigation

    can anyone please post a screen shot of how traffic looks like.

    I don't think traffic data works for philippines. At least from the limited time I've used it. I'll post screenshots on how it's supposed to look from Singapore traffic perspective.

    If the traffic feature is available, some part of the blue line (route towards your destination) turns red if there's a slower traffic in the area. Road construction zones will also be indicated (orange triangle).

    Some roads suggested doesnt exist. Better than nothing. Still a helpful app compared to the native map app.
