My brother had me bought this because according to him, this costs >P15k there?

I’ve tested the demo in bestbuy and they sound really good! This is $249cad here plus 5% tax which is roughly P10,500.

You may want to look at Bose's SoundLink Revolve or Mini

I was using the Revolve for movies before I bought a Sound bar

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually asked a Bose sales representative regarding their products. I was told that you can pair two units to make stereo sound for music but there will be a delay when video is played. I was actually considering these products.

I connected the Revolve to the TV using a 3.5-3.5mm cable... (TV earphones to Aux of the speaker)

Allowed me to control the volume using my TV remote...

I guess there won't be any issue if the TV is connected to a single speaker directly. :)

If you can live with a 360 speaker, consider a Google Home setup. I have a JBL Link 20 that can do that, or check out the JBL Boost TV.

Has anyone tried the KEF LS50 wireless or the new KEF LSX? Are they any good? The LSX is still pricey but very tempting!

I've had the KEF LS50W for almost a year now, and I love it. Haven't heard the LSX yet but I think that since it's the smaller active speaker, it would be ideal for smaller spaces and in a desktop setup, while the LS50W would be a better match for medium and larger-sized rooms on stand-mounts.

Thanks for the input! The LSX is indeed new in their lineup. I believe it was introduced earlier this month.

Regarding the LS50W, I was wondering if it's necessary to connect both speakers together with a wire for it to work? I read that the speakers of the LSX can be used wirelessly but the output is somewhat degraded.

The LS50W won’t work without the wire between the speakers. Ironic isn’t it?

Very! I guess that's the biggest advantage the LSW has aside from the price.

Anyone has experience using Polk Audio T15 or any Polk Audio desktop speakers? Are they good? Some friend is selling me his T15s, and I plan to use them with my Rega P1. Just a simple set up, nothing fancy. Your feedback is highly appreciated.

I have the Polk Magnifi Mini on our bedroom. Sound is decent even on high volume (P.S. Not a hardcore audiphile here).
