Same here, I had it reversed as well. And what's funny is that the agent I talked to said that before reversing the bill protect I had to shift to The Plan which she also said is mandatory. I tried to talk to her patiently but that mandatory thing triggered me. And in the end the reversal was done without changing my plan.
The old plans prior to MLP and the data plan only charges plus 500 not the entire 1500. I have 2 officemates who didn't recontract and they were charged only 500 excess.
Ahh yeah I just noticed magkaiba nga. Less Bill Protect - Plan yung naka indicate for the older data plans. But why is there an inconsistency? Hmmm...
My current bill to my surprise is 1K more than the average bill I'm used to get every month. I got charged 1501 on top of my plan so I complained at the Globe Business center. But to my dismay, the rep told me that they have a new policy on the ABS. Globe is getting more expensive now.
Query: I have a Plan Zero. I subscribed to GoSurf 499. I exceeded my data usage limit. Would it be 499 + 1500 (Bill Protect)? Thanks
looks like GLOBOO needs funds badly and charged me 1500 bill protect even if i didn't even exceeded my data usage. i have requested for temporary disconnection after AUG 24 since im going abroad and this bill came. will have to request for billing adjustment then.
here is mine. I have the obsolete plan (BE MSP) with ABS. I was charged ~500 only for my excess, not 1500. It shows "LESS Bill Protect - GoSurf". Kinda worried for my next bill though
All they can say is "sorry po talaga pero wala na po kami magagawa, kahit kami po disappointed..." planning to terminate my contract with globe and switch to smart nalang.
Someone really needs to file a case with DTI or a consumer watch group. This is absurd. Sana pag umabot ang subscriber sa limit ng allowable interent niya, you will be given the option whether to continue consuming with additional charges or not. Hindi yung behala na si batman or charge a usurious P1,500 additional on top of the regular plan. Lumalabas mas mahal pa yun sa subscription ng 8mbps sa bahay! WTF
my contract with globe will expire soon and i am leaning towards not renewing with them anymore. i don't get why there seems to be more viable value for money choices in their prepaid than postpaid schemes. they introduced homesurf recently and that seems tobe a better alternative for me moving forward.
