iPhone 8 Plus running iOS 13.6

VoLTE working as expected. Found it very useful when doing grocery shopping.

    Thank you!

To be honest Globe/Smart could have skipped the whole micro cell site if they only activated Wi-Fi calling.

Roll out should be first with postpaid accounts with smartphones from the telco.

Then postpaid accounts with SIM-only plans

For prepaid it should be from the oldest acccounts to the newest.

Is your number not part of the whitelisted accounts as well?

I'm reaching out to Globe Business to whitelist me.

They're copy pasting tech support documents to confuse me into yielding.

So I asked for whitelisting and others.

Please update us if and when you get whitelisted. I also filed a network support ticket (for consumer account) and all I got was "number not provisioned for VoLTE and VoWiFi; number not included in initial batch for VoLTE and VoWiFI" and I was like "no sh*t, that's why I called" :ROFLMAO:

    Globe support's been a pain.

I'm trying to prototype my mobile # to check whether it is suitable to be deployed to other corporate mobile accounts.

Just got VoLTE and VoWIFI on my account this morning. Tried out the latter in an area at home where phone signal (regardless of carrier) is abysmal, and it works... it's a godsend, to say the least.

What device/s are you using? It sucks that compatible iOS devices don't have VoWifi working yet.

Me too. iOS din VoLTE lang nagana pero kung nasa Metro Manila lang ako.. (sucks to be in province). VoWiFi na lang inaantay ko. Signal coverage sucks here in my area even on LTE.

Globe Wi-Fi Calling seems to be ready on iPhone on iOS 14.

How to get to this menu settings? I can't find it under the Phone or Cellular or WiFi
Or does Globe needs to provision my number to activate that function?

Seems stable now, voLTE and VoWifi.

On iOS 13, I was having intermittent messages not being sent. Now it works perfectly on iOS 14

Can you please post a screenshot of the carrier name when Wi-Fi Calling is active?

Have enabled WiFi Calling but seemed not activated yet on my account. VoLTE not available in my area too.

Activated it too but looks like it’s not working. How do you even know that the call is utilizing wifi calling?

Apparently it needs to have “Wi-Fi” appended to the carrier name to determine that Wi-Fi calling is truly activated. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203032

Thanks! It worked! I mean the menu was added. It is another story if Globe will make this work.
