Globe just posted this on their website...
I hope the release is within October. Otherwise, that's just a bad long teaser for excited Apple fans.
Nice. How much do you think is the addon cost for the X Max 256GB if im only in plan 1200 ?
Did they remove it?
Pre orders next Friday with release 2 weeks from now. That's my theory.
my exact same question. i don't see this teaser on their website.
Still on this page. Scroll down.
Finally! Now the question is, will this be the dual physical sim version?
hopefully all iPhone x models will be available already.
ayun, thanks bud.
PH will be getting the nano+eSIM model. But it would still be up to the telcos if, or when, they’re gonna implement it (or not).
Mm...99% sure no twin nano sims. The band 700 mhz LTE is the crucial determinant: both networks are invested heavily in band 28 LTE. It does not make sense to bring in one of their prime smartphone offerings into market that does not support band 28 (twin nano sim). Now, as to whether both will surprise us with eSIM support, well, that’s a different story. How hard and costly will it be for both networks to enable eSIM support? Mauuna tayo mag support ng eSIM over Singapore or Hong Kong? I don’t think so. Bottom line lagi ang nagwawagi. Twin nano sim but no 700 or esim nano with 700? Which will bring in more bucks for them?
If you look at their current crop of smartphone offerings, none have eSIM built-in. The new iPhones will be the first.
There’s that 1% chance for either twin nano sims or eSIM support at local launch......but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Isn't that too early? AFAIR releases are usually on November. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
December is historically when they start shipping to users.
No it wont. It will be detrimental to the issuing network if it is a “nano-dual sim” capable. Telecom restriction will not be compromised.
I think Iphone XS will be released November and Iphone XR in December.
The iPhone normally releases here November with an exemption to the iPhone X which was released 1st of December. So my guess is the iPhone XS and XS Max will be officially available by around 2nd week of November followed by the XR at around 1st week of December.
Di ba Singapore and HK carriers already support esim on the Apple watches? I wonder what's stopping them on implementing it on the iPhones? I'm guessing the technology behind the esim on the Apple Watches and those on the iPhones are no different.
Globe and Smart still does not support VoLTE, eSIM pa kaya! hahahaha I hate losing LTE signal whenever I'm calling someone. hahaha
Mm...check Apple.com for countries and telcos supporting eSIM for the Xs Max and Xr. HK and Singapore telcos are not listed.
VOLTE is now available for Smart. I'm currently using a Note 8.
I am also wishing eSim would be available even if it's for the apple watch only.
I hope pricing is ok. My contract just expired and is on the market for a new phone plan.
Given the fast replenishment of stocks in HK (no need to reserve online). We might see a faster rollout this year. That’s where I based my assumption.
