Anyone got their handset from a globe store?
No text or call at all until this morning. The rider’s call actually woke me up. Preorder was processed on the first day. I was made to fill up a Google Docs form.
Thanks. Transfer’s pretty easy. Practically the same as two years ago. Just scanning a QR code and then keeping the devices close together. And apart from Face ID setup, the process won’t need your intervention.
I didn’t ask for a SIM replacement. I don’t need one, actually. I just thought to mention it because previous recontracting deliveries invariably had SIM cards taped to the boxes.

Got mine just now... XDE is the courier... im from mAkati... sim is included since i requested. But I've read the LTE sim is already 5G compatible

Where in the Globe One app can you see the status of your order? Can’t seem to find it. Wala pa din tumatawag sa akin na courier though I was advised by the Globe agent last Dec. 12 na ngayon daw delivery.

UPDATE: A very odd thing happened. I got a call from Globe's delivery personnel that my iPhone was on its way to me. As it turned out, this was the order that GlobeOne app shows as "canceled" and on which I had already given up by pursuing another application with a Globe store. Was supposed to pick up from that Globe Store later at 4:30pm, but now I have a unit from the online channel. Had to text the Globe Store to explain and cancel. Weirdness aside, I'm happy with the pacific blue iPhone 12 Pro Max! The camera is stellar; I was coming from the iPhone XS Max.
A friend just went to a store even if it’s not his pick-up date yet since the status of his order is already “Received by Globe Store.” He failed. The store said his unit will only be available on the pick-up date. And yes, the store can check on their system the agreed upon pick-up date.
We also went to the store today just to check if we can pick up even though I was told by the agent that we have to wait for the store's advise before going and that the date we were told was Dec 22 for pick up. Gateway store advised that they only have units on hand for Dec 18-19 pick ups only and they will indeed inform us once we can pick up the unit. We were assured that our unit was secured for pick up; they also told me that my other unit which is for delivery on the 26th still shows "For Delivery". I can't really track my other unit for delivery. Im now expecting that it will really be delivered on the 26th. I hope it can be earlier, but I doubt.
I was kinda hoping i may get the unit today even though i was quoted Dec 21st as the delivery date. Hopefully I’ll really receive it by that day. I have no idea what’s the status of my order since I can’t see it on the app.
I asked very very nicely. They’re pretty strict coz the units they have are just enough for the ones who chose store pick-up for December 18. They were able to snag a spare unit from a nearby store. I’m a happy camper.
