Anybody tried recontracting via the website? I'm already at the checkout but I can't see any option to change the cashout into a 24 month payment scheme.

Done recontacting with my Platinum account manager. Recontracted two supplementary lines for my parents, 1 midnight green (512 GB) and 1 silver (256GB), 11 pro max models. The call just lasted 15 minutes. Delivery is on October 26, 2019.
No luck for me via the hotline, I've been trying since 8am and my calls are always dropped after an hour of waiting lol. Will try my luck at the Globe Business Center later.
I tried renewing via landline as well earlier. Like you It also happened to me that calls dropped after certain duration; my advice is call thru mobile via their 211 number it’s more reliable and the line doesn’t cut off.
i called (02) 7730-1000 at around 7:58 got through at exactly 8. call lasted almost an hour but actual convo lasted 5-10 minutes. it seems like the CSR that assisted me is a newbie or probably just more careful. the CSR is very polite and apologetic, i am glad i got myself the color and capacity that i wanted. i just hope that launch or distribution in the province is same as in the Metro. it is a week of lead time, i wonder why globe pushed it back to a couple of days.
Actually, I was calling this morning via 211, but I still get dropped after an hour. This afternoon, I used ye olde landline here in our office to call their hotline, still no luck. Am currently on hold once more right now and my current call time is 20 minutes. lol. I'll just drop by the mall later. Hoping that'll be faster.
I called earlier around 7:58 and pressed recontracting at exactly 8:00. Got connected instantly but was disconnected. After 15 seconds, tumawag sila to inform me that I was disconnected but they called back as I was the very first caller. Discussed for 10 minutes but call lasted 45 minutes. Tumagal lang sa encoding. Pickup date is October 25. Was given a reference number pero walang text or email for the recontracting form. Though within 24 hours daw un bago dumating.
I see, probably there are so many in queue that the ratio between CSR and customers calling are huge that they started dropping/cutting calls. Oh well better do it in stores then so you can choose the device you really want. Good luck!
Or if you are willing to wait, go online then when they call to verify you can have it changed. That's what i did, they called just now and i had it changed. Even got invited to the midnight launch, so apparently they will be having one again
^its toxic by this time, my cousin called around 8:30am and he waited for more than an hour... an officemate tried it this afternoon and gave up, i suggested she try it first thing tomorrow morning
