So does it mean gadget care really works? Did they gave you a replacement?
I think they do block the phone. You need to submit din kasi affidavit of loss NTC format, yun yung nabasa ko sa requirements nila.
Yes, replacement of the broken phone.
Thank you, familiar ka din ba if hindi siya stolen like accidental damage, block pa din?
Ah, if accidental damage, they will replace the unit, if approved nila, then they will tale the broken phone.
Alright. Thank you.
Hi! Was the unit you received is the same as the unit that was stolen? Thanks!
Expecting to receive my replacement unit tomorrow
Here's what happened
May 4, Saturday - phone got broken
May 7, Tuesday - reported the unit thru Chubbs hotline around 10 in the Morning. Explained them what happened and was advised insurance decision will be on the same day thru email. Received good news at 1pm the same day. Sent me instructions on what to do next and how much to pay, 4k participation fee
May 14, Tuesday - the day I made a payment at BDO, 9am. Took me a week because I was outside Metro Manila for vacation. Sent them the cash deposit slip via email. Received confirmation they received the payment and unit is expected to be delivered within 5-10 business days
May 15, Wednesday - got SMS from Esquire (Chubbs logistics partner) asking if I'm available tomorrow for pick up of my unit. I responded immediately and they called me after a few seconds to verify the delivery address
Unit is "good as new", they cant confirm if it is brand new or refurb. Or they are not allowed to disclose
Broken phone was S10 Plus 128GB Prism Green but they got me Black which is not an issue for me. That is the only unit they have right now. I should've been assertive on getting the same color
Overall, Chubb exceeded my satisfaction on how they handle my transaction. Everything was buttery smooth and hella fast
