This is a port of The GIMP where the menu structure closely resembles that of Adobe Photoshop. As with the original GIMP, GIMPShop is totally free (as in free beer)!

    From the developer's website:

My original purpose for GIMPshop was to make the Gimp accessible to the many Adobe Photoshop users out there. I hope I’ve done that. And maybe along the way, I can convert a Photoshop pirate into a Gimp user.

    Download available here.

Versions for Windows, Linux and Solaris are also available.

Hey! Yep. This is a very good program. I even heard on a podcast (I think it was TWiT) that the fellow who developed GimpShop isn't even a programmer, and that the Gimp purists reviled his efforts at improving the product.
