    I folds... that's it

I was initially excited when the 2nd gen was announced, I still use the first gen which was a gift from my wife

For me, the biggest drawback is that the 2nd gen requires your device to have the DJI App...
My first gen will work even with a GoPro

Hi. Is anyone using an Osmo Mobile 3 with a 2016 iPhone SE? It's not on the compatibility list of the 3, but I've read in Youtube and other fora that say it works with the 1 and 2.

^I'm always tempted to get an Osmo Pocket (or the cheaper alternatives)

But every time I play with a demo unit, I feel that I'll be better off buying a GoPro.

They're two entirely different devices. GoPro is an action cam more suitable for hiking, skateboarding, etc. The Osmo Pocket is a vlogging camera with mechanical image stabilization.I have an Osmo Action, GoPro 7 and an Osmo Pocket. I use the Osmo Pocket more often because I don't have an active lifestyle.

Hero 9 has "hypersmooth" plus auto-levelling, should be enough to complement my Osmo Mobile. Being able to use it "oputdoors" is a bonus.

I have a Hero 5 and I basically only use it on the beach.
