When we get travel tickets we always insist on insurance. I also have this WHO world insurance which allows me to seek medical help wherever I am up to $1000 consultation, hospital and ER fees.

My wife pays for it anyway.

Does Bpi/ms have a subsidary in Singapore ? Last time when I was in Singapore, I have subscribed AXA (https://www.axa.com.sg/travel-insurance)
I would like to try bpi/ms next time...

if you get BPI/MS, ask a BPI branch if they have a travel insurance promo, and they'll give you a promo code to include in your online application! That's what I did and I got a promo code, minus 300+pesos.

All local insurance companies that offer travel insurance, have reinsurance from abroad. If you buy them locally, it should have coverage everywhere.

My uncle, who's over 70 years old, got travel insurance from Pacific Cross. My girlfriend, who works with AXA, can't offer him travel insurance due to his age. Try asking your preferred insurance provider if age is not a factor.

I previously availed the travel insurance in the GCash app (via Standard Insurance) for a 63 y.o. relative for a few Asian trips. It was less than PhP500.00 / day with the non-covid premium insurance. Application process was quick and easy. They cover until age 75.

No experience yet on the claims process though, which I guess is good for my relative. Can't say they are a good travel insurance on that department.
