Re: The new iPad Watch the Apple event about the iPad. http://events.apple.com.edgesuite.net/1001q3f8hhr/event/index.html
Re: The new iPad It's not available now. The Wifi only device will come out in 60 days, and the wifi+3g device (which is more expensive) will be out in 90 days. There is no upgrade, only two different models (which all come in different sizes). Leo
Re: The new iPad You can look at it another perspective, you can consider it just like reading a big hard bound book. If you are tried lifting it then you can just use it flat on its back or use one of those book stands I see collage students use in Starbucks to prop their hardbound books for easy reading. I think it CAN replace the netbook but it depends on the needs of the user. If I plan to simply browse the net, read stuff, checkout my facebook or watch youtube (like 95% of the netbook users out there) then this device is perfect. But if I'm a content creator who just wants to work outside then a Macbook is better.
Re: The new iPad as usual, i will wait for the technology to stabilize (aka more affordable) before i buy. it's also a lifestyle device which, i believe, will compete with the netbook.
Re: The new iPad waaa will be in the US around the time of the release ,,, and I thought of getting a Kindle but now this wow sweet!!!
Re: The new iPad Ah ok, misunderstood the banner. As is my habit, I will wait for the company to work out all the kinks, and maybe buy the 2nd or 3rd generation release.
Re: The new iPad Like Liz Lemon says: I want to go to there! The best feature is the price. I am definitely eyeing the 64gb wifi version for 700$.
Re: The new iPad iWant the iPad the next gen release after they consolidate the consumer feedback and include it in the next 2nd gen. maybe they will include webcam and sim slot so it can browse even in no-wifi area
Re: The new iPad this would be nice for hospital partient charts, wifi-ed! paperless, validation/digital signatures would be a problem....hmmmm
Re: The new iPad Pardon my ignorance, but what specifically is the 3G option for in the iPad? I'm a vir3gin. I own an iPhone 3GS, but never used the 3G functions.
Re: The new iPad nice gadget. i might consider getting one but too bad theres no flash and multitasking. all that power and space. sayang lang.

Re: The new iPad 3G allows you to connect to the Internet via your telecoms carrier. Leo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Re: The new iPad ....mobile connectivity to the internet, when wifi is not available. It's the same as your 3GS but no call or text. Thank God its not linked to Globe alone (for Smart subscribers like me, that is a big plus).
