Hi there, I recently stumbled this new site. http://salpakanonline2.no-ip.org:800/SalpakanOnline/ It's an online "Games of the Generals" with pinoy players. If anyone here still remember that game ^_^ It's fun actually. Much easier and faster than Chess. Enjoy!
this is my favorite game back in high school. Chess wasn't my favorite as it is too mental. GoG is tactics and bluffing. It's a psychological game for me I'll try this one out.
I have to learn this game myself. I never learned it when I was younger, as I found it too crowded with two players plus a "judge." Now that I'm older, I've realized that sometimes generals do need a judge. But then again, sometimes even the judge needs another judge. Haha.
hehe. true true. it becomes a prank game for my playmates. Crucial, I can't get the applet loaded both in Safari and Camino. Hmmm...is there something wrong with the game just now?
lol thats a good one maryanne i miss this game.. used to play this a lot in highschool.. man memories thanks crucial
I used to memorize the blemishes on the back of those metal pieces as it gives great advantage knowing where the Spies are so my Generals can wreak havoc on the poor lesser ranking officers and Privates. Just following Sun Tzu's strategy of "know thy enemy"!
Well tha game has an "Arbiter". It automatically shows whether your peice got owned or not. @bacchus_3, I'm using Firefox, and it runs smoothly.
hahaha! that is why we've always opted to use new gameboards instead of those old ones. @Crucial, I'll try with firefox on my macbook tonight.
This brings back good memories hehehe... bacchus_3: Yes, I do. I just don't remember where. Cge lang, if I see one again, I'll inform you.
I haven't been able to make the online game work on any of my browsers: Camino, Safari, Firefox. Something is wrong with the Java plug-in. I never had problems with any other java applets - e.g. Multiply Photo uploader works fine. Hmmm...sayang, I'm itching to play pa naman
Hi! I'm also having problems running the game. It can't seem to run the java plug-in. Any idea how to fix it?
