Mostly positive reactions for the Z Fold 2 from YouTubers in their hands-on videos. They like the new larger front display, no more notch on the inner display, and a better hinge that has that flex mode. My guess is that in their final review their gripes will be the high price, the crease, and only a few apps can utilize flex mode. Oh and that the US version does not come with earphones included. Looking at the US preorders, they have a trade in offer that can slash the price up to $800 off, and just a discounted rate for the Galaxy Buds & Galaxy Watch 3. Other preorder freebies include a 6 month Spotify Premium trial, 4 months YouTube Premium trial, and a 3 month XBox Game Pass access. Preorders from other regions just have the free 4 month YouTube Premium trial.
Singapore pre orders get a free Galaxy Watch 3. I wonder what will be the freebies for the local pre order of the Z Fold 2.
According to this: https://www.yugatech.com/mobile/samsung-galaxy-z-fold2-priced-in-the-philippines/ For online pre-orders, free Galaxy Watch 3, 2k e-voucher, plus 10k off the unit price. For store pre-orders, free 2020 55" 4K TV and 2k e-voucher. Edit: E-voucher can only be used for the Leather Cover at the online store. Retail price is the same at 109,990.
If it still has local warranty I guess it’s ok. Compared to the Z Fold 2, the Fold 1 feels less durable according to user reviews.
