I'm glad you bought those cases. They look to even out the gap near the hinge when its folded which drove me nuts!

The Spigen case actually offers more protection. It's thicker and offers full coverage but obviously the leather case will give you a more premium, classy look.

My kumpare in Virginia just bought a Samsung Fold after choosing it over the iPhone 11 Pro. He’s a big guy about 6’1” 270lbs and has got huge hands. The Fold looks so small in his hand, and as my daughter narrates it, the Fold just crumbled in his hand last night, as in it bended sort of in the middle. So the entire evening at the dinner table everyone was telling him what a dick he was for choosing Samsung over the iPhone, and that, he’d be sending the Fold back and, yeah, get a new Samsung.

So much for telling him Apple is better.

Mm...folding fail per CNET . I wonder if anyone will buy a pre-owned Fold 3 years from now.....Samsung should offer a generous trade-in for the Fold.

Hmm. Maybe we’ll have a Philippines release soon. It’s already available for pre order in Malaysia.

The hinge is not an issue as long as you fold it properly. It’s the main screen that you should worry about. There are already 3rd party companies selling screen protectors from Korea. It’s supposed to work on the main screen without damaging it. I’m not buying it. Just get a microfiber cloth and avoid using your fingernails when touching the screen.

Buy this. It’s the only pouch that I’ve seen so far that perfectly fits the Galaxy Fold.

feels ok when folded but when opened you need both hands already.

Got mine yesterday and loving it. Not as fragile as I initially thought of. The weight is excellent and not bulky but handy when folded.
