anybody managed to install gaim chat client?
Like Adium? and Proteus?
Haven't used Gaim.
If it's any consolation, I'm currently using X-chat aqua.
yes just like adium.. but its native in linux... there are ways of installing it using darwin port or fink and the terminal.. but im not lucky enough i guess...
one more thing its much gorgeous than adium.. and it supports yahoo chat room!!!
I use gaim on linux and windows, for mac Adium and Proteus is the better choice.
yeah there nice!! but ill still go for gaim..... ill try it again!!
I'm just curious as to why would you choose gaim over adium? (On a Mac)
Maybe it's the whole "consistency/familiarity" across platforms he's after.
I can relate in a sense cuz I switched back to Firefox after being a devout camino user - just because I wanted the same "browser experience" regardless of what OS I'm on.
maybe that's the reason!! ahehe its the only client i used on linux!!! and what i like about it is ican support yahoo chat rooms.. though adium can do the same.. but u have to put the room name manually!!
i've used gaim for microsoft; trillian is better (aesthetically speaking)
does trilian had a client for OS X?
