i was playing Side A's Forevermore and forgot that I left my iChat status to display the current iTunes track (now built in with Tiger!). then eliza msged me about my kabaduyan and kasentihan... thus ensued the following battle of the kabaduyan and sentihan with our music collection via iChat's "Current iTunes track" .....

Several years ago, I burned the CD equivalent of a mixed tape for a few friends.

I called it "The Patay-Sindi Collection: Songs From Places Where You Are Affectionately Called Koya"

It included such classics as Inspector Mills, Total Eclipse of The Heart, Two Less Lonely People in the World, I've Never Been to Me, and a boatload of hits from Michael Learns to Rock with the song version of Desiderata as the coup de grace.

Sayang, sali sana ako sa inyo. My super trump cards: IKAW ANG AKING MAHAL by VST & Co. followed by Swing, Awitin Mo, Isasaw Ko and finishing off with a grand finale of Sumayaw Sumunod, possibly followed by Francis M's "Cold Summer Nights" :D

Too bad TJ's place is gone. Can you imagine iPod Tuesdays at Struan & Tang's? The best of baduy baby. :D

It might interest you guys to watch this new reality-type contest series in the US called Hit Me Baby 1 More Time which premiered last Thursday (actually copied from the Brits). Basically each show brings back live 80s bands/singers to the stage to sing one of their past hits, and a rendition of a modern song. They had A Flock Of Seagulls, Arrested Development, Tifany, Ce Ce Peniston, and Loverboy. Watching it was aliw to "yak" so old.... Good entertainment though... get the bittorrent file.
