I'm currently on Sierra with a frozen Safari! It opens but won't do anything except show the beachball. No other apps are involved. I've tried all remedies PRAM/SMC reset to no avail. In frustration after so many restarts, decided to use Chrome instead. Surprised that Chrome seems to be loading faster.

Have any of you encountered Safari freezing? How did you fix this? How do I migrate my passwords to Chrome? TIA!

Happy to announce Safari is working again, after a day's rest! Don't know what happened, it just worked again. Goodbye Chrome!
