Try Linotype FontExplorer X a free substitute for Extensis Suitcase and other popular font management applications. Although it is still in beta format I still have to find bugs in the day or so that I have been using it.

Just wanted to say that Linotype is out of its beta stage and its still free. I enjoy using this application and haven't had any problems with it the past week or so of using it. :)
