    " Platform-Native Look & Feel

The new Firefox looks and feels like home. Think of it as a Firefox who’s really good at making friends. Whether you use Windows Vista, Windows XP, Mac or Linux, the browser seamlessly integrates into your computer’s environment. A native look makes for a flawless interface that never gives you pause. Firefox 3 does not look ONLY like Safari but depending on what operating system you are using. All the looks in just one application.

    Now, beat that SAFARI!

I don't use firefox. I dunno why. I tried it once when they release ffox 3. but i uninstalled it shortly afterwards.

maybe coz my normally rainbow-ish beachball of death icon (loading pointer cursor thing) turns black n white when i use firefox.

From the time i switched to mac, Firefox is my default web browser. It's fast (blazing fast). And now comes Firefox 3 which is way way cooler in terms of user interface and like what you said, it has Safari-like and Apple-feel on it. And yeah, it's fast (blazing fast).

Safari is cool too. It is my secondary browser.

It's the reverse for me. I use Safari as my primary, but I keep a DMG of FF3 in my Downloads Stack.

Anyone know if FF3 is much less of a memory hog than FF2 was?

I'm a big fan of mozilla's browser. I've been using firefox when it was still called phoenix, then firebird..now firefox. Those were the days.

I think your case is isolated. Most of the users says its faster than Safari.

open Firefox then go to Preferences> Main> Manage Add-ons
A separate window will open. Just click on "Get Add-Ons" tab. :)
