hello guys i need major help here. i turned on filevault to encrypt my files then right in the middle i decided to stop it. well, there was a stop feature i guessed it wouldnt be bad to stop it and so i did. so my mac rebooted and all seemed well until i looked at my available disc space and firevault used up 30 plus GB of hard disk space! my computer runs fine but i cant recover the 30 GB of HD space. cna anyone please tell me where i can find that backup so i can delete it to recover my space? please help!

ok i think i figured it out. i ran omnidisc and found 35GB laying round my users folder. it was most likely a hidden folder. it was named my username .sparsebundle. i removed it restarted and got my space back. im not exactly sure if this had any bad effects, but everything seems to be running ok. if anyone has any advice i would greatly appreciate it. thanks!
