I'm thinking of the average Joe here... Not members of Philmug who knows the difference between the cables :)

A good example is my office colleagues who started receiving new wireless chargers for Christmas... Because the old ones they had was for Samsung o_O
(new IT policy no longer allows us to buy our own company phones... it's either Galaxy S or an iPhone)

I just realized I wrote 0-50% in 15 mins, should be 30 mins.

If you have and iPhone ONLY, get the 12W charger. If you also have an iPad Pro, the 29W might make more sense.

    Thanks.

You may also consider using a powerbank that supports USB PD like the Ravpower Xtreme 26800 PD Portable Charger, but you will still need to buy the USC C to Lightning cable to get fast charge.

I decided to get the 12w power adapter since this one fits my budget. Planning to get Airpods or Apple Watch next. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Apple should allow a third party mfi certified usb c to lightning cable. I hate the ones Apple is producing.

^I honestly find it strange that 8 months after the announcement of the 8/8 Plus/X, Apple is still not certifying USB-C to Lightning Cables...

Maybe it’s to force people who wants fast charging to buy their cables rather than a third party one?
