Does anybody know how to do the following?

    1. Say cells are A, B, C and D. When all cells are highlighted, hitting one key (the delete button) in a PC erases data on cells A, B, C and D. On mac, it only deletes data from A. Any way we can do this also?

    2. What is the mac equivalent of the F2 function key in Excel (one-button cell edit)?

    TIA

just going to share some more excel shortcuts, but before i do...you can set the shortcuts yourself. if you are using mbp you might want to remove the functions on f1-f12 so you can use them for excel.

    command+y = repeat last action

theres no "Key" letter to doing paste special then function unlike in windows where you can do right click > s > v to paste values so I set mine to ctrl+v since cmd+v is normal paste

got a question for mac excel users: is there a way for excel to always open documents at 125% zoom and expanded? i have a 13in mbp and its quite a hassle to always change the views everytime i edit a new excel file cause the font is so tiny.

To make a default view or normal view not the page layout view, go to Excel prefs>view>settings>select from drop down select your preferred view for new sheets.
