Ever wanted to dim your menu bar? Or make it semi-transparent?

    You can also have your menu bar completely disappear if you set your shade color preference to black, shaded brightness at maximum & unshaded brightness at minimum. Useful if you want to have a completely blank screen. I have nothing on my desktop, I use MenuShade with those preferences, and I have my Dock set to automatically hide. You're desktop picture should also be a plain black background. It gives your screen the appearance that your Mac is turned off or asleep.
