Has anyone here found or know a software that I can use for a computerized embroidery machine? Any inputs would be appreciated.
You're in luck... I keep my mac magazines in the bathroom (ahem ahem) so I sometimes read them over and over. According to my MacAddict May 2005 issue, there's only one company that still makes software that works on embroidery machines. You can visit their website at www.textiletech.com. However, the cheapest product is called PowerSwitch ED which sells for US$350 and only works only on Classic Mac OS. MacWorld also has a nice write-up about your requirements. Good Luck. Brother? Their "PE Design 7" is WINDOWS ONLY. There is absolutely no embroidery software on the market for the Mac. If someone finally made it, they would make a lot of money. Are you listening, embroidery people?
If a mac is running Windows, will embroidery software from Brother (PE Design) or Viking software work? Will dongles be recognized?
