    You can try the online Wikipedia at http://www.wikipedia.com - it's so useful and informative. Wikipedia is one of my essential online research destinations. Come to think of it, Google is one huge encyclopedia.

    yup, been very satisfied with wikipedia, updated as well. you can also have a nice little widget on your dashboard.

    otherwise you may want to check datablitz but i think they only have encarta.
